Possibilities ExhibitsJudith states, "My captivation with the flourishing growth of our British Columbian garden reverberates with the exploration of floral motifs and meanings in other regions I have visited. The Possibilities series evolved from recent garden sketches which illustrate the delight I experience when immersed in “nature”, a joy made more intense by the imminent threats to its beauty. Possibilities are not exclusively felicitous; Eden undone, a dissident voice in the series, acknowledges the harsh realities of our troubled world".
Judith’s series of oil paintings, Possibilities, is based on her lifelong appreciation of the places she inhabits and visits and the persons therein. Her September solo exhibit in the main gallery at the Station House Gallery, Williams Lake, BC features an additional dozen art works from the Possibilities series, including a display of developmental drawings. Small works will be displayed in the Gallery gift shop and at the nearby New World Coffee & Tea House. Connor Kenney's Woman Inside the Man is exhibited in the Station House upstairs gallery. The exhibits open, by invitation, with a reception and artists' talks: Thursday, September 8th; 5 to 7 pm.
