Two old women, we leaned into one another and murmured ragged, grief stricken phrases when the first of our sibling-trio died. My remaining sister died shortly thereafter. A thundering internal requiem struck silent chords. Visceral interstices overflow with love and loss as my silent brush seeks peace amid the furor.
